Millennium Development Goals
In September 2000, Kenya along with other one hundred and eighty eight (188) United Nations Organization (UNO) Member States, adopted the Millennium Declaration whose main objective was to define a common vision of development of the world by 2015. The Declaration commits UNO Member States to ensure that basic human development for all the people is attained through achievement of the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by the year 2015.
Localization of the eight develoment golas was done it three District in the Country in the year 2008; Marakwet, Siaya and Bondo.
