We are a membership organization, open to all persons and organizations sharing its vision. There are different kinds of membership and are renewable annually, namely:

 

Patrons: Patrons are women who are involved in and contribute significantly to Kenya's political life, and who work to enhance the participation of Kenyan women in politics. These women will be consulted upon to give guidance, encouragement and support the Centre.

Honorary Patrons: These members consist of prominent individuals, from any part of the world, including Kenya, who donate a set monthly contribution to the ECWD      's work. Non-Kenyan Honorary Patrons, like Associate Members, have no voting rights. They will include individuals whose political vision and contribution towards the enhancement of women's political status and participation is outstanding.

Organizational Membership: Open to organizations, which share similar aspirations with the Centre.

 

Ordinary Membership: Any Kenyan female or male is eligible for membership to the Centre under this category.

Student Membership: These members are enrolled in institutions of learning and upon graduation would be expected to translate their membership to Ordinary Membership Category.

Associate Membership: This category is reserved for Non-Kenyans, and men. Associate members do not have the right to vote.

 

Note: Only Female Kenyan members above 18 years are eligible to vote.
